This year will be an exciting time for FastServers.Net as we make our way to HostingCon 2007. The one thing we are doing differently this year is instead of an elaborate poker setup or a game show, we will have 7-10 engineers, managers, and executives staffed at our private, enclosed booth. There are no prizes or fancy swag, just bright and intelligent people waiting to talk to our special guests, partners, current and future customers about their specific needs, goals, and future projects.
Guests will be able to talk to key players about all aspects of FastServers.Net including dedicated servers, support, data centers, network footprints, staff, and new products and services we are launching in the near future.
Key players at this year’s booth (#409) include the following:
Aaron Phillips – VP of Sales/Marketing

During the session I will be at various locations dealing with marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I definitely look forward to seeing Jim Boykin from last year! Beyond visiting with old friends, I will be meeting some new ones on the Business Networking Cruise sponsored by FastServers.Net and TopHosts.Com. If you are not attending the event, head on over to www.hostingconcruise.com and take a look at the first HostingCon related business networking cruise. At the time of writing this we had less than 20% of our passes left and I am sure there will be even less by the time the Mystic Blue cruise ship sets sail.
Mark Luptak – Executive Sales Manager, Chicagoland Market

One reason I like HostingCon is the social aspect. While parties are always nice and fun, just bumping into people at the hotel bar, on the street or at lunch is so worthwhile. I usually end up just discussing the event in general, what part of the world that person is from, and how much we may have in common. Those interactions are the best. No pressure from either party to sell their respective wares…just honest interaction. And usually, we both leave with a good contact that can help us get a problem solved down the road.
Neal Marple – VP of Operations

My role at FastServers.Net places me in a unique situation where my past experiences and particular skills can be applied in a way which I hope will raise our service and support to yet another level. We already have a fantastic group of people working day and night, providing support and constantly working to improve our services and capabilities. Now I have the opportunity to meet with our customers attending HostingCon 2007, live and in person. I want to know about their experiences with FastServers.Net and their thoughts about our service and support.
Shane Reisner – Enterprise Sales Engineer
shane@fastservers.net
My job at FastServers.Net is to educate customers on all our products and services. With my expansive hardware knowledge of the DELL PowerEdge server line and the full array of storage products from DELL and EMC, I can design a solution that meets your exact requirements. As an expert in designing solutions to fit customers needs and scaling current solutions as needed to compensate for growth, you can count on me to help you achieve your goals. I also have a vast knowledge of both Windows and Linux solutions. I plan on educating all our guests at the FastServers.Net booth on our DELL and EMC products.
Steven Anderson – Director of Inside Sales

I’m really looking forward to manning the FastServers.Net booth at HostingCon this year. Last year, I missed out because I was “holding down the sales fort” while Shane and Aaron were meeting with existing and potential customers in Las Vegas. This year is different because the conference is right on our home turf. I’m excited that customers can meet everyone on the sales staff and get to know them in person. I’ve always touted FastServers.Net as the kind of company that gives our customers personalized attention and meeting people face-to-face solidifies that fact. Our customers are not just servers, they are partners and friends.

As the FastServers.Net professional writer, I am very excited about a special project I will be working on during the three day event. Some of you may have visited our blog at http://www.fastservers.net/blog. If you haven’t, go there now and bookmark the site so you can keep up with all the events taking place at HostingCon 2007. I will be posting about the specifics and interesting things going on during the show. If you are attending the event and would like to be featured in the FastServers.Net blog, find me and tell me your exciting news. You can find me with a laptop in hand or walking around greeting everyone as I learn names, shake hands, and get to know as many people as I can.
