At HostingCon 2006 I had the unique opportunity to attend as both an exhibitor and as a panel member in a keynote round table discussion. Our interactive “Jeopardy-style” game show was an overwhelming hit and earned two out of three awards from TopHosts.com, including Best of Show. A more in depth look at the convention and our booth itself, as well as a fun overview of after hours partying, will appear in an upcoming blog.

DNS Design and Security

A few months ago, a scheduled review/maintenance of the FastServers DNS revealed a few shortcomings, and a few….. changes have been made.

While discussing with our Dell rep the new product offerings that we will be rolling out in the fourth quarter of 2006 I was thrilled to see that the new PowerEdge 1950 and also the yet to be released PowerEdge 860 will have the capability to house up to 3 disk drives.

New PENTAGON.FASTSERVERS.NET Interface

The time has finally arrived. After six months of development from our team of hard working engineers, we are getting ready to launch a brand new dedicated server control panel at pentagon.fastservers.net. The FastServers.Net team of engineers added a series of new features and functionality to the control panel. Once released, the control panel will make it much easier for customers to submit helpdesk tickets, review server information, and manage their billing information all from one simple application. The estimated release date will be on or before August 15th.

ISPCON 2006 will be held in Santa Clara, California, November 7, 8 and 9 in the Santa Clara Convention Center.
