Cleaning up the ol’ Pentagon System

A little Spring (well, Summer actually) cleaning never hurts.

We are conducting an audit of every customer account here at FastServers. The main purpose of this particular audit is simply to restructure how some of our services are listed within our customer’s Pentagon accounts, and to simplify the invoicing on any accounts where necessary. By doing this we hope it will be easier for customers to keep track of and recognize exactly what services are active on their account, and to keep track of invoicing history.

Because of this audit you may see changes in how your services are described in the “Active Service Manager” section of your Pentagon account and on your invoices, but this will not affect the functionality of any of your services. While performing this audit we may be in contact with some of you to verify account information and to confirm services, so please keep an eye out for emails from FastServers.

Due to the large number of services and accounts we will be going through this audit will take some time to complete. But again, this will not affect the functionality of any services. We are not actually tinkering with any servers or services, just how they get described and tracked. For most of you the changes will be so minor you probably won’t even notice.

As we move through 2007 we will be continuing to make improvements that will allow you to better utilize all of the excellent features your Pentagon account has to offer. Keep an eye out for emails, blog posts, and the FastServers newsletter for updates on these improvements.

If you have any questions feel free to give me a phone call at 866-753-3278, extension 111. Or you can always send a ticket through your Pentagon account to the Billing Department.
