Management Team

FastServers.Net is only as good as its employees -- which is why we are great! Our employees are our single most valuable asset. However, there is a group of
eight extremely talented, devoted, and motivated individuals who continue to move the company forward with innovative new ideas, new technologies, and new solutions that benefit our customers and employees alike. The FastServers management team is a highly qualified group with
over 50 years of combined experience in web and dedicated solutions. One of FastServers.Net's most unique elements...its founders can still be found at its core. Since 1996 the industry has undergone massive consolidations, sales and even bankruptcies that have sent the founders of many original companies away from their organizations. The same two that made the company what it was years ago have maintained their positions and continue to move the company forward today. Each of the personalities of all seven of our management team members can be summed up in one simple phrase -- one-of-a-kind. These individuals are all extremely energetic and work tirelessly to make sure the company remains at the forefront of the dedicated hosting industry. Our "core
eight" biographies not only outline the professional backgrounds of our elite team, but give you an opportunity to get to know the personal sides of the individuals that constitute the very foundation of the company.
Ian
Andrusyk ian@fastservers.net
President and CEO
Ian Andrusyk, President & CEO of FastServers.Net. This is not
your ordinary executive and business owner. As a 50% co-founder of
FastServers, Inc., Ian has been building his hosting service company
since he was 15 years old. Dating back to 1996 with the introduction
of PowerSurge Technologies, Ian started the company while he was
still in high school. When he wasn't studying math and science, he was studying
how to build what is known today as one of the top twenty hosting
providers in the world. Not bad for a high school student running
a business out of his parents' basement. Ian's late nights working
on servers and providing support to customers on the phone is a thing
of the past.

Travis
Schaffner travis@fastservers.net
Chief Technical Officer
Travis Schaffner, Chief Technical Officer and co-founder of FastServers.Net.
He's been in the trenches with Ian Andrusyk since the beginning. Many
late nights and absences from high school became a normal routine
for Travis when he helped found the company (formerly PowerSurge)
back in 1996. "It was a ton of work and required a tremendous amount
of multitasking. Some nights I only got about three to five hours
of sleep, but I made up for it on the weekends with about twenty hours
of sleep each night." Travis said balancing school, athletics, farm
work, and an Internet company was not the easiest thing to do at the
time. He was obsessed with learning the technology and put forth the
effort until the company became self-sustaining without his attention.

Terrance
Bush tlbush@fastservers.net
Chief Information Officer
Terrance Bush is the Chief Information Officer at FastServers.Net.
He is amazing at giving tours of the Cedar Falls, IA data center.
We know this first hand as several new employees took a guided tour
by Mr. Bush before the 2006 Christmas party. Was it worth it? Absolutely.
Row after row of racks, stacked with DELL PowerEdge servers, Cisco
Routers, Switches, and a well-organized network of cables, Terrance
told the new employees every detail they could possibly want to know
about the facility. The group consisted of just under a dozen people.
And you should have heard the questions being asked. If Terrance is
that good with employees, imagine how he is with customers. His knowledge
of the network, servers, and the facility make it worth taking a tour.
Now keep in mind that Terrance used to play college football for Illinois
State University, so don't touch anything in the data center. Trust
us, don't touch anything. We've tried it and it doesn't work too well.
Want to know why?

Neal
Marple neal@fastservers.net
Vice President of Operations
Neal Marple, VP of Operations at FastServers.Net. He's in charge of
making sure customer support and FastServers.Net facilities operations
run smoothly. "We have a group of very talented server and data center
technicians that work hard 24/7/365 to make all of this possible."
Neal said the real challenge is keeping focus on the main objective
- support FastServers.Net customers. "We work hard on this and it
shows, but we also have to plan for extending beyond our capacity
and capabilities in order to keep pace with our growth." The classically
trained musician from Juilliard has his mind set on taking support

Geoffrey
Crump geoff@fastservers.net
Director, Customer Relations
Geoffrey Crump is the Director of Customer Relations at FastServers.Net.
An avid improv comedian, Geoff preformed with Comedy Sportz in Buffalo
for seven years. We have experienced his comedic nature in a live
setting - at the 2006 FastServers.Net Christmas party. He spent several
minutes making us all laugh with a drink in one hand and a microphone
in the other. We asked Geoffrey if he considers anyone to be his favorite
comedian. "At this point I do not have a favorite comedian. I used
to listen to Bill Cosby a lot when I was a kid." He said Bill Cosby
was and still is a good storyteller. "Mr. Cosby doesn't just stand
there and tell jokes, he recites a complete story, filled with humor
and real meaning." We heard about something else that Geoffrey likes
about Bill Cosby.
